Marketing Co-Director

The Friends of MADACC board has an open position for the role of Marketing Co-Director Director. This position is responsible for:

  • Developing social media and print marketing plans  

  • Launching communications across a variety of channels 

  • Updating the webpage

  • Assisting in the creation of new graphic designs

  • Promoting our fundraising events and outreach work

  • Raising awareness of our organization and MADACC's work

  • Participating in monthly Board Meetings and the majority of Friends of MADACC events throughout the year

Prior experience in marketing, public relations, and the use of Wordpress is a plus but not required.

Events & Fundraising Co-Director

The Friends of MADACC (FOM) board has an open position for the role of Events Co-Director. This position is responsible for:

  • Overall management of all fundraising events, including Barktoberfest, our largest fundraising event of the year

  • Work with Marketing Directors to design and create communications for events

  • Determine viability of potential fundraising events 

  • Organize and plan online events

  • Participating in monthly Board meetings and the majority of Friends of MADACC events

  • Assisting with other tasks when requested 

 

Prior event planning and execution experience is a plus but not required.

Volunteer Director

The Friends of MADACC (FoM) board has an open position for the role of Volunteer Director. This position is responsible for:

  • Coordinating volunteers to work FoM events as needed (On average, 10 major events per year.)

  • Utilizing web-based tools to create sign up sheets

  • Advertising volunteer opportunities via various avenues (Kohls Cares website, FoM social media presence)

  • Acting as point of contact to volunteers with any questions, concerns and comments

  • Managing volunteer database

  • Fielding questions from potential or current volunteers in a timely manner

Donor Relations Director

The Friends of MADACC board has an open position for the role of Donor Relations Director. This position is responsible for:

  • Creating, maintaining and cultivating relationships with individual donors, corporate partners and sponsors  

  • Researching and developing opportunities for new funding, including grants

  • Assembling lists and content for sponsor and corporate solicitation

  • Entering donor data and producing donor reports

  • Coordinating donor acknowledgements through email and snail mail thank-you notes; and personal communication from President as appropriate

  • Working with the Marketing Directors to design and create communications for potential donors and funders

  • Working with the Events Director on sponsorship opportunities and to ensure sponsor activation and fulfillment at various events  

  • Helping develop web and social media initiatives to increase online giving

  • Leading the Annual Year End Appeal (Direct Mail Campaign) to individual donors

  • Participating in monthly Board Meetings and the majority of Friends of MADACC events throughout the year

 

Prior fundraising and grant writing experience is a plus but not required.

Outreach & Education Co-Director

The Friends of MADACC (FOM) board has an open position for the role of Outreach Co-Director. This position is responsible for:

  • Schedule and manage Community Pet Clinics and Pet Food drives

  • Monitor and respond to spay/neuter requests

  • Establish partnerships with area vet clinics

  • Manage outreach information and training

  • Implement new community outreach programs

  • Partner with the Marketing Directors to develop and distribute outreach materials

  • Participating in monthly Board meetings and the majority of Friends of MADACC events

  • Assisting with other tasks when requested

Merchandise Director

The Friends of MADACC (FOM) board has an open position for the role of Merchandise Director. This position is responsible for:

  • Research and recommend items offered for sale, including pricing of items and communicating with various potential vendors

  • Maintain physical inventory counts 

  • Manage Square database and reports 

  • Manage outreach information and training

  • Maintain information on each product and cost of goods sold 

  • Develop and track board votes for new merchandise orders 

  • Maintain adequate levels of inventory, reordering inventory as needed 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with merchandise vendors 

  • Packing and mailing out internet orders with the assistance of other board members
