our mission:
Friends of MADACC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to improving the well-being of companion animals, both at MADACC and within our community, by providing the resources and education necessary to foster awareness, compassion, and positive change.
Volunteering for Friends of MADACC helped me take my love of animals and turn it into action. I love my pets, and now I get to work with a group of people who not only share the same passion but also want to actively work to improve the lives of animals locally. My favorite events so far have been Barktoberfest and Pints for Pups because they include almost as many canine attendees as people!
The kitty condos in the lobby at MADACC are such a great idea! I love that comfort in the shelter is a priority for Friends of MADACC. It is one of the main reasons why I donate because I know that projects like that will get done and make a difference in the lives of the animals who are waiting to be adopted.
We were first introduced to Friends of MADACC through one of your Community Pet Clinics last year. We were able to get our dog microchipped and vaccinated for under $30, which was awesome. We’ve since attended a few of the other events you host throughout the year, and have had fun meeting other animal lovers in Milwaukee. Please keep up the great work!
